The substrate must be sound, clean, dry and even. Address significant unevenness, cracks, stains and loose coatings before application. Choose the primer for both the substrate and the product.
How many packs will I need?
It depends on wall area, the exact product’s coverage and surface preparation. Confirm coverage per pack, include an agreed allowance and round up to whole packs. Our quantity guide has a worked example.
Is it right for my room?
Consider humidity, water exposure and cleaning as well as colour. For splash zones or areas needing frequent washing, confirm the exact finish’s suitability with the manufacturer first.
What if a small area is damaged?
Keep leftover material and batch details. Small areas can be repaired locally; the method depends on the finish and damage. Test discreetly first, as an exact colour match cannot be guaranteed.
